Student who learn at University in Indonesia (maybe other country too) need to create a final task before they graduate from their University. the task is Skripsi. Skripsi can measure how great a someone in mastering the skill he/she have learnt for many years. A Skripsi which is created by them will give great contribution for the society. As a student from local University named UNIROW, I have finished it couple years ago.
Why Creating Skripsi? Here are some reasons flashed in my mind. Please understand if this is my own description based on the reality.
- It is a Task or Assignment so create it is a must. Last year student will have to deal with Skripsi. Like it or not, Skripsi should be done before he/she finish the study.
- Skripsi can measure the knowledge and skills each student have. A Skripsi is created by intense and extensive research which are not only consuming times but also need knowledge and skill in order to finish it.
- Skripsi can help society for better life. A better life can be achieved by a Skripsi. just for illustration, a student make a Skripsi about “Changing the water into Gasoline”. Just Imagine how great the impact for every people. If water can be changed into gasoline, There is no need to drill earth just to get the oil. We will have sources of energy which last forever. Every people get the benefit from it. A Skripsi created by each student have possibilities to help improve our life.
- Creating a Skripsi basically can give us more knowledge than before. Imagine how much knowledge we got if we doing a research just to make Skripsi. We can make a Skripsi even if we were not last year student. Let’s just call it “Extensive research”. Name isn’t that important. The important is doing a research.
I also have finished a question about What is Skripsi in previous post. It have some question answered. I write the question about “Why creating Skripsi?” with an assumption the reader never heard about Skripsi before read it. For someone whom already know about Skripsi, you can start learning on “How to create Skripsi” in the next post. The clock is at 13:35 Pm in my room. It’s time to teach my student. Have a nice day.
